Emergency Rule: Higher Daily Trout Limits at Crouse Reservoir + Nine Mile Reservoir (May 2026)

Utah DWR issued emergency regulation changes to increase daily fishing limits at Crouse Reservoir and Nine Mile Reservoir, effective May 11, 2026.

These are time-sensitive rule changes, and the official PDFs are the source of truth.

What changed (high level)

DWR’s announcement explains the reason: low water conditions can reduce survival odds, and the agency is encouraging increased harvest so fish aren’t wasted.
